Early-mid season. Jewel blueberry is a highly adaptable, low-chill variety known for its vigorous, upright growth and record-setting yields. Widely grown in California and Central Florida, it produces large, light blue berries with a pleasantly tart flavor, ideal for fresh eating. Ripening in the early–mid season range, Jewel performs best when planted with other mid-season varieties. Hardy in zones 6-10.
